Does this feel familiar?

You look capable.
Inside, you are depleted.

Burnout does not always look like collapse. It can look like functioning through exhaustion, losing patience with people you love, second-guessing every decision, or feeling detached from the life you worked hard to build.

01

Your mind never fully switches off

You are tired, but rest does not feel restorative because your thoughts keep racing through work, responsibilities and everything you may have forgotten.

02

You keep saying “I’m fine”

Other people still see the reliable, capable version of you, while privately you feel emotionally flat, irritable, anxious or close to breaking point.

03

You no longer trust your decisions

You know something needs to change, but exhaustion makes every option feel overwhelming. Staying feels difficult, yet changing direction feels frightening.

04

You are carrying everyone else

People-pleasing, emotional labour and constant responsibility have left little time or energy for your own needs, boundaries and recovery.

05

You feel unlike yourself

The enthusiasm, confidence or motivation you once had feels distant. You may wonder whether this is simply who you have become.

06

You need more than generic advice

You have already read the tips. You now need a private conversation that connects the advice to your circumstances, pressures and priorities.

What we will work through

Less confusion.
More direction.

The aim is not to pressure you into a dramatic decision. It is to help you understand your situation clearly enough to make grounded choices.

01

Understand what is actually burning you out

Separate immediate stress from the deeper patterns, expectations, environments and responsibilities that keep draining your capacity.

02

Make sense of the emotional weight

Explore the guilt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, fear or self-criticism that can make recovery feel harder than simply taking time off.

03

Clarify what needs to change first

Identify the most useful immediate shift—whether that relates to boundaries, workload, support, rest, communication or career decisions.

04

Create a realistic next-step plan

Leave with a manageable direction that respects your current energy, responsibilities and circumstances.

05

Begin rebuilding trust in yourself

Reconnect with your own judgement, needs and values so future choices are guided less by fear and more by clarity.

The Anti-Burnout Framework showing alignment, mindset and self-care as connected recovery pillars
Jane’s approach

The Anti-Burnout Framework™

Jane’s coaching explores burnout through three connected areas, moving beyond surface-level productivity advice towards the conditions that make recovery more sustainable.

01
Alignment

Examine whether your work, values, relationships, responsibilities and lifestyle still fit the person you are becoming.

02
Mindset

Question beliefs about success, worth, failure, responsibility and rest that may be keeping you trapped in over-functioning.

03
Self-care

Treat care as part of the foundation of recovery—not a reward earned after every other demand has been met.

Choosing the right support

Coaching can support change.
It is not medical treatment.

Burnout coaching may be suitable when you want to:

  • Understand personal and workplace patterns contributing to burnout
  • Clarify boundaries, priorities, values and practical next steps
  • Build self-awareness, accountability and sustainable routines
  • Talk through decisions in a supportive, non-judgemental setting

Please seek qualified clinical support when you need:

  • Diagnosis or treatment of a mental or physical health condition
  • Crisis support, urgent safeguarding or help with thoughts of self-harm
  • Medication advice or regulated healthcare treatment
  • Trauma therapy or specialist psychological intervention

Coaching does not replace medical care, psychotherapy, counselling or emergency support. If you are concerned about your health or safety, contact an appropriate qualified healthcare professional or emergency service.

Questions before booking

Burnout coaching FAQ.

Clear answers about the format and scope of Jane’s one-to-one coaching.

It is structured, collaborative support that helps you understand personal, emotional and practical factors contributing to burnout. It can support clearer boundaries, priorities and next steps, but it is not medical treatment or psychotherapy.

It is designed for women who feel emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in people-pleasing or over-functioning, or uncertain about what needs to change.

You will discuss what has been happening, what feels most difficult, and what you want to understand or change. Jane will help identify relevant patterns, organise priorities and clarify practical next steps.

Yes. The session takes place through a private online video meeting. You receive confirmation and joining details after booking.

Coaching generally focuses on awareness, goals, decisions, practical changes and accountability. Therapy may assess and treat mental health conditions, trauma or psychological distress. Coaching does not diagnose or treat illness.

Coaching can help examine workload, boundaries, values, communication, workplace patterns and career choices. It cannot control an employer or remove structural workplace problems.

No ethical coach can guarantee that. One session can reduce confusion, clarify the situation and identify useful next steps. Recovery needs vary by health, circumstances, environment and support.
